Wednesday - Thursday - Friday - Saturday - Sunday - Teams - Winners

"Let's fix this schedule quickly...", says Bill Poucher, ACM Contest Director

"...Yes, that's now right", confirms James Comer, Finals Director

"Look, these envelopes must be handed out after those ones",
instructs Marsha Poucher the Registration staff - carefully observed by Ria van Ouwerkerk, who
is going to be the Local Arrangements Responsible for the 1999 Finals in Eindhoven, The
Netherlands.

Vicky from IBM Recruiting, sitting next to the Registration Desk, is waiting for the
participants to arrive.

Fran Sinhart from ACM HQ is just reimbursing the team from Ural Technical University their
travel expenses...

...well guarded by an officer of the Atlanta Police Department (yes, Stanley Street is a
real policeman, not just one of those amateur hotel security people...)

James Comer welcomes the RCD Workshop participants.

Among them Phil Robbins (Auckland University), Raewyn Boersen (New Zealand and Pacific
Division), C.J. Hwang (Asian Division) and Chuck Howerton (USA, Mountain Region).

Vladimir Parfenov (Northeastern Region) and Alberto Lamadrid (Central American Region);
between them in the background Larry Griffith (Chief Judge Northeast American Region).

Boba Mannova (Czech Technical University Prague), the 1999 Central European Contest
Director, with Peter Mederly (Comenius University Bratislava, Slovak Republic), the 1996-8
Central European Contest Director

They just popped in: John Clevenger (Mr. PC^2), Jo Perry (Chief Judge) and Dick Rinewalt
(Director of Judging)
Tom Glover and Mary Law from the Sponsor IBM, who (and whose volunteers) did a really
great job!
(there were much more volunteers acknowledged than shown here...)

Riccardo Dahab, South American Regional Director

Don Bagert, American Superregional Director

Brian Sitton, Systems Manager (who seems to prefer listening to his
I-do-not-know-what-kind-of device instead to Bill ;-).

Last but not least, Vladimir Parfenov (Northwestern European Director) thanks Marsha
Poucher for her great efforts.
