Date of Contest: 15 - 16 September 2000
The contest drew students from colleges and universities throughout the South Pacific including Australia and New Zealand. Winners selected from regional contests on six continents advanced to the ACM Programming Contest World Finals in Vancouver, B.C., to compete for bragging rights and scholarships.
